Plasma Rotation Experiments at Auburn University

The largest experiment in the PSL is the Auburn Linear Experiment for Instability Studies (ALEXIS).

The ALEXIS device is a 180 cm long, 10 cm diameter magnetized plasma column used to study the physics of plasma flows driven by crossed electric (E) and magnetic (B) fields.
