After a scenic drive across the island and a few lookout stops, we arrive at St. ThomasÕ premier east end attraction - Coral World Marine Park!  Coral World is a unique marine park with a three story underwater observatory tower offering a 360 degree viewing area through twenty four windows to he open sea with an ever-changing parade of sea creatures.  Also features are numerous beautiful exhibits of Caribbean marine life including a spectacular 80,000-gallon circular tank surrounding viewers.

St. Thomas Island Tour w/ shopping

This tour is an excellent way to get an overview of the entire island.  Participants will visit the Estate St. Peter Greathouse & Botanical Gardens, the fabulous panoramas found at DrakeÕs Seat overlooking MagenÕs Bay and will stop at Mountain Top for a complimentary banana daiquiri and shopping.  When the tour is finished, (approx. 2 hours) the group will be taken to Ft. Christian near Emancipation Park in Charlotte Amalie where they will be greeted and invited to explore the Fort at leisure.  Afterwards, guests are on their own for shopping in the historic district.  Ferry tickets are included on the tour for the return to FrenchmanÕs Reef at leisure.

BlackbeardÕs Historic Walking Tour

Depart from your hotel for a scenic drive to the Inn at BlackbeardÕs Castle; built in 1679 by the legendary pirate Blackbeard as a watchtower above Charlotte AmalieÕs picturesque harbor.  Enjoy a guided tour through the castle and the adjacent historic properties of Notman Manor and Haagensen House; restored 19th century homes complete with authentic West Indian mahogany furniture and typical period accessories unique to the Caribbean.  After a delightful lunch at BlackbeardÕs, a courtesy shopping shuttle delivers you to downtown Charlotte Amalie for your foray into the world of St. Thomas duty free shopping; or you may opt to relax by the pool at the Inn.

Full Day St. John Safari

Sun. 6/22/03

 

Participants will be departing the FrenchmanÕs Reef Dock at approx. 9:00 AM and traveling via ferry to Cruz Bay, the main settlement in St. John.  Once the participants arrive, they will be escorted to their open-air safari buses, introduced to their driver/tour guide and begin a 2 to 2 1/2 hour tour of the national park system.  The participants will have the opportunity to stop and get out to explore the Annaberg Sugar Mill Ruins as well as many other look outs and attractions.  After the tour, guests are dropped off at beautiful Trunk Bay where they have approximately three hours at leisure to enjoy the snorkeling trail, the white sand and blue water or just relax under a palm tree. There is some time for shopping at the ŅMongoose JunctionÓ shopping area before boarding the ferry and heading back to FrenchmanÕs Reef, arriving at approx. 4:30 to 5:00 PM.
