Auburn University at the annual Plasma Physics conference

Fourteen faculty, post-doctoral researchers, and graduate students from the Auburn University Physics Department attended the 49th annual American Physical Society - Division of Plasma Physics meeting in Orlando, FL from November 12 - 16, 2007.

Prof. Edward Thomas and several of the graduate students (along with a few Auburn grads - Dr. Jeremiah Williams, Ph.D., 2006 and Dr. Nirmol Podder, Ph.D., 1998) participated in the Plasma Expo - an interactive outreach activity for over 2000 middle and high school students - using a number of the demonstration tools developed in the Auburn University Plasma Sciences Laboratory.
