Poster Presentations:

Posters will be given in two sessions - from 4:45 pm - 6:45 pm on Thursday, June 19 and Friday, June 20. Approximately 20 posters will be presented in each session.

• The posters will be presented in Harbour Room I of the Frenchman's Reef Hotel.
• There are no assigned positions for posters, feel free to pick any available location in the room.
• Posters may be displayed throughout the entire day - participants are encouraged to mount their posters as early as possible.
• Push pins and double sided poster tape will be available for mounting the posters.
• Arrangements will be made to have power strips and tables available for some of the posters for the convenience of multimedia poster displays (e.g., laptops with movies or simulations).
• Posters will be given on 36 inch tall by 48 inch wide (91 cm x 121 cm) poster boards that will be mounted on portable easels.
• Presenters are encouraged to use large font sizes (20 point or larger) to ensure that their poster can be read at a distance.

Oral Presentations:

Oral presentations for this workshop will be given in eight (8) sessions throughout the two and one-half days. All talks will be 20 minutes long - 17 minutes in duration with 3 minutes for questions and answers. There will be a total of 34 talks throughout the workshop. Presenters are strongly encouraged to keep their presentations within their allotted time.

• Reminder: All talk slots are 20 minutes long (17 minutes + 3 mintes question and answer)
• An overhead projecter will be provided for transparencies.
• An LCD (computer) projecter will be available for PowerPoint presentations.
  
  • Presenters who wish to use PowerPoint are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to test their presentation on our equipment BEFORE their talks.
  • For those who will be presenting in the first session on Thursday, June 19th (and anyone else), the projection system will be set up on Wednesday afternoon during the registration period for testing.
    
• A VCR/Television combination may also be available. All video presentations must be in NTSC format.
